John Baron MP visits Jobcentre Plus, Basildon

MP congratulates staff for their hard work during recession.

Today John Baron MP visited Jobcentre Plus, Basildon to see for himself the excellent work of staff especially during the recession. John met with Vilma Wilson [Manager] and members of the team to discuss their work and also to thank everyone who volunteered to give their free time over a weekend helping the Visteon workforce who had just been made redundant.

John said:

"The team at Jobcentre Plus do a great job in helping people especially during this time of economic recession. Everyone's dedication and hard work shines through, and their commitment to the local community was clearly seen when they volunteered to help advise those Visteon workers recently made redundant."
