    Calor Gas prosecution commences in Basildon Court on Friday

    The HSE prosecution of Calor Gas will commence on Friday in Basildon Court.

    Calor face two charges, one relating to the accident itself and another one relating to their failure to report the accident.

    Independent MP Bob Spink says:

    "I pressed Ministers and the HSE for a prosecution in order to establish the facts and I am pleased this is now going ahead.

    I cannot comment on the details of the case at this stage but I am delighted that facts will now emerge so that I can continue my fight to make Canvey Island safer for all residents."
