Announcement from Mike Hall MP regarding Weaver Court

Mike Hall MP welcomes the Environment Agency announcement that Weaver Court in Northwich is to benefit from the property-level protection grant scheme.

The Environment Agency, as the agent for Defra, has announced that Weaver Court in Northwich has been selected for the first round of the property-level protection grant scheme to reduce the flood risk at Weaver Court. Cheshire West and Chester Council have now been given a grant of £15,000 to carry out this work.

Mike Hall MP said:--

"This is good news for the residents of Weaver Court who I am sure will be reassured that action is to be taken to reduce the flood risk at Weaver Court."

Each home will be surveyed to determine the individual requirements for each home so that suitable measures can be put in place to reduce the flood risk.
