Spending cuts - business view

In response to George Osborne’s spending cuts:

Baroness Jo Valentine, chief executive of London First, said:

"Committing to reduce spending whilst maintaining vital services and supporting economic growth sends the right signal to business and worried markets. The government has much tougher decisions to come, but it's plain common sense to begin by targeting quangos with overlapping responsibilities and paring back spending on programmes with laudable aims but unimpressive returns, such as Train to Gain."
