GMB sponsor 'Birmingham Pride'

GMB SPONSOR BIRMINGHAM PRIDE 2011 SATURDAY 28TH MAY & SUNDAY 29TH MAY 2011

GMB is proud to be a part of this huge event which will help us reach out to all those people and to raise awareness on the inequalities that still exist in the workplace today because of ones sexuality

GMB is sponsoring Birmingham Pride which takes place Saturday 28th May & Sunday 29th May 2011. As an official sponsor the Birmingham Region along with the LGBT and Equality Representatives will be taking part in the parade with our GMB union banners and flags. GMB are inviting the public to come along and take part in the celebration of the Pride event.

GMB Birmingham & West Midlands Region will have a stall in the main Community Pride area with information on a number of issues to discuss from Political, Health and Safety, to problems you may be facing at work.

Birmingham Pride is a weekend long LGBT festival held annually in the Gay Village on Hurst Street, Birmingham, England: held over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend.

It is uniquely the largest FREE LGBT two day festival in the UK and welcomes gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight.
