Transport Hub

Transport Hub

The Transport Hub is a group of transport organisations working together to promote the crucial issues affecting the way goods and people move around the world at the heart of party conferences.

In previous years, similar coalitions such as the Health Hotel or the Climate Clinic have been very effective in promoting their sectoral interests and are now accepted brands and part of the fabric of party conference season. Members believe transport interests should work together in this way, and that we can make the Transport Hub a major player at party conference.

Transport Hub works. In 2010, it hosted a series of fringe events on a diverse range of issues at the conferences, and it will be looking reaching still further 2011. The topics and speakers at these events are driven by the members who retain editorial control for their event. Each conference culminates in a dinner or reception; providing a chance for members to network with an audience of transport professionals, politicians, party figures and friends

By coming together under the Transport Hub banner, members can ensure that their events do not clash with other similar events and will be heavily promoted to ensure maximum attention. This year, nine partners across aviation, logistics, rail, road and sustainable transport have come together to compile a diverse programme with something for everyone on a Transport theme.

As well as the individual events from partners, you will see each conference has a centrepiece "Big Transport Debate" event, which will provide anyone attending conference the opportunity to grill and expert panel including a Minister or Shadow Minister on almost anything you like, as long as it relates to Transport.

We hope to see you there.
