East Thames
East Thames is a registered social landlord and social regeneration charity with more than 13,500 homes. But we're more than just a landlord - we also build new homes, provide care and support services and offer employment, training and community programmes.
Our focus is firmly on east London and Essex. This has been the case since we started as a small housing association in 1979, and that commitment hasn't changed.
We are part of the g15- a group of London's largest 15 housing associations- and a member of the National Housing Federation. Our association with key industry bodies like these enable us to support campaigns for better affordable housing regulation and provision and a fairer deal for residents, vulnerable people and communities.
We want to highlight to Government and Parliamentarians the work we're doing to provide social rented homes and affordable home ownership through schemes like shared equity and our efforts to improve areas in east London through regeneration. We can also share our experience in delivering key services to address homelessness, youth justice, unemployment and community issues.
We aim to actively promote the rights and needs of our communities, and share our lessons learnt to the wider industry and to those who lead it.
