    Policy Documents

    The Institute's policy work helps to shape public perceptions of management and raise the credibility of the management profession. We aim to keep management and leadership at the forefront of the public policy agenda, so that the views and needs of managers and leaders are represented at the heart of government and key agencies.

    Consultation with members and relevant research underpins and informs all our contributions to government policy-making and the development of legislation.

    • Innovation for the recovery
      The Chartered Management Institute have carried out a report, published by the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), showing that the recession has prompted organisations to make innovation a priority to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive marketplace and return them on a path to growth.(December 2009)
