British Lung Foundation

The British Lung Foundation works to campaign for improvements in all areas of lung health including awareness, treatment, care and research.

We work with ministers and politicians, government officials, service providers and the public to secure policy, legislation and services aimed at providing a better quality of life for everyone affected by lung disease.

Following seven years of campaigning, Dame Helena Shovelton, chief executive of the British Lung Foundation, welcomes the publication of the outcomes strategy to tackle Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and asthma.
