What you can do
If you are an MP or Peer, you can support Breakthrough's campaigns in Parliament by:
1. Signing our EDM on breast awareness and screening,
EDM 843 (Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness Month). If you are unable to sign, we would be very grateful if you would consider asking your colleagues to sign the EDM and show their support for breast cancer issues.
2. Joining the APPG on Breast Cancer
Breakthrough Breast Cancer provides the Secretariat for the dynamic All Party Parliamentary Group for Breast Cancer. We encourage MPs to join the group, support key meetings and events, and make their mark by helping remove the fear of breast cancer for good.
3. Work with us locally
Breakthrough's Campaigns & Advocacy Network (CAN) play an important part to help achieve Breakthrough's vision. By campaigning locally and nationally, they are securing the important improvements needed, changing lives and futures.
4. Work with us in Parliament
Breakthrough Breast Cancer works to ensure breast cancer remains a key priority in Government health policy. Our team is happy to provide briefings on breast cancer related issues, and provide information for parliamentary speeches or constituency casework.
