I wish I had known about this Bill earlier. I heartily condone the abolishment of unlected and unaccountable quangos which interfere in every sphere of life. These 'special landscapes' were created by the ancestors of those who are now imprisoned by outdated legislation which was designed to provide others with enjoyment while the residents suffer from 'soft eviction' or 'voluntary resettlement' whether it is somewhere in Africa or the UK the same NIMBYism exists, it is OUR land.

I am an experienced social and mental health worker. There is so much research evidence about the importance of exercise and links to emotional wellbeing. Surely these assets should be secured for future generations (once they are gone, they are gone) and positive use of them promoted!
Why are the politicians not taking note of proven factors such as these.
