Waste Recycling (End Use Register) Bill 2010-11

A Bill presented by Peter Bottomley MP to require certain authorities to maintain a register of the destination of recycled materials.

The Bill calls for:

  • Waste collection authorities and waste disposal authorities in England must, keep and maintain a register of the end use or destination of recyclable waste collected.
  • The end use register must be available for public inspection during working hours at the offices of the relevant authority and must be made available on the authority's website.
