Unite reaction to NAG's end of year results

Unite National Secretary, Mary Alexander, says:

"Unite has just begun its negotiations on next years pay award with National Australia Group. Full year results show profits for the group (which includes Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank) up by 16.3% and cash earnings per full time employee up by 20%.

"In the light of these healthy end of year results we expect the bank to recognise the efforts of all staff and reward them with an inflation busting pay deal."
