Today's Thought...

. comes from Conservative leader, Iain Duncan Smith, who gives the keynote speech to his party conference in Bournemouth today.

"This week we have begun to lay out the policies that will begin to take us back to government.

"They are not namby-pamby policies. They are radical. Why? Because the focus on public services really requires us to think radically about how we will improve them.

"Too many people find themselves trapped in public services that do not give them the service they deserve.

"When I say change to the Conservative Party I don't mean change to something that we are not. I mean change to the people that we really are.

"We care about people. Last week Labour had on its billboard 'schools and hospitals first'. Well they are wrong. It is pupils and patients not schools and hospitals."
