Conservatives to get 'personal' with Blair
Tory election strategist and shadow cabinet minister Andrew Lansley says his party will make direct attacks on Tony Blair in the run up to the next election.
Speaking in an exclusive ePolitix.com interview, he said the Tories would accuse the prime minister of lacking judgement, poor personal management of issues and losing touch with the public mood.
He says: "I think in truth, it [the election] is not only about policies but also personalities. There were times earlier in this parliament when he was able to capture a public mood, but all that's gone."
