Bingham Rd Post Office, Frindsbury, to close
Today the Post Office has announced the closure of its Bingham Rd branch, the top of Frindsbury Hill.
Bob Marshall-Andrews MP said, "Can we thank all those residents who signed the petition against the closure (organised by Mr Jassal the postmaster and Labour Councillor Stephen Hubbard) or wrote to the Post Office. We had support from Strood, Frindsbury & Wainscott residents, local businesses on Medway City Estate and many customers from further a field.
“Your Labour Councillors gained cross party support at Medway Council and I believe we have done all we could do to save our local post office.”
