TSSA - the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association - is the union for people in transport and travel.

Founded in 1897, we represent 33,000 administrative, clerical, managerial, professional and technical workers in the railways, London Underground, buses , canals, ports and ferries and the travel trade.

We have one of the most diverse memberships of any trade union of our size. Our members range from highly qualified engineers and senior managers to booking office staff and call centre workers.

TSSA is committed to expanding its membership and is currently running a major campaign to unionise the travel trade, focussing initially on high street travel agents.

We believe all our members can take an active part in achieving change at work. TSSA works with employers to produce better, fairer and more productive working conditions.

TSSA is affiliated to the TUC and the Labour Party.
