Association of Convenience Stores

Welcome

The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) was formed in 1995 as the retail trade association for the UK convenience store sector. Within ten years ACS is the fastest growing trade association in the UK retail market, representing over 32,000 shops.

ACS represents and supports the interests of convenience retailers operating in the UK. One of our key roles is to ensure that policy-makers know how legislation and regulation impacts upon these neighbourhood retailers. See the Political Work pages for more details about how we do this and how you can get involved.

We do much more than this, though, and if you visit the section of the site For the Independent you can see some of the great deals we have for businesses to help them grow, save them money, and support their development.

If you haven’t been to one of our events, you’re really missing out on an opportunity to network, learn about the sector and develop your business – and to have some fun while you’re doing it! In 2006 we go to Las Vegas and Toronto. Go to our Events section to find out more.

Above all, ACS is an organisation run by its members, for its members. If you are a retailer or supplier to the sector, why not Join Us today? If you have any comments about the site, or about the work that ACS does, contact us by clicking here.
