The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the world's largest global professional accountancy body, with over 320,000 members and students in 160 countries. ACCA's headquarters are in London and the organisation has an extensive network of over 70 staffed offices and other centres around the world.
ACCA derives its strength as a leading global accountancy body from its statutory recognition in the UK, its open access and its expertise in education and training. Our mission is to provide quality professional opportunities, be a leader in the development of the global accountancy profession, promote the highest ethical and governance standards, and to work in the public interest.
ACCA conducts research into and comments publicly on a wide range of business, financial and regulatory issues. We also respond to legislative developments and make representations on behalf of our members on public consultations of relevance.
ACCA makes available a team of technical experts in taxation, small business, business law, public sector - including local government and health - corporate governance, audit, lifelong learning and corporate social responsibility. Our technical advisory service is in daily contact with our members so that ACCA is fully aware of the key interests and concerns of the accountancy profession and the business community as a whole.
