Today's Daily Mail has continued its campaign against the BBC's coverage of the death of the Queen Mother.

In its leader column, the paper accuses the BBC of "stupefying arrogance" and goes on to say: "Sadly, a corporation once renowned for truthfulness now seems more interested in peddling self-serving propaganda to cover up its own inadequacies."

A spokesman for the BBC told ePolitix.com: "We believe our coverage has been both authoritative and comprehensive. Furthermore, we also stand by our belief that it struck and appropriate tone in terms of dignity and respect."
