The BBC has announced that is to spend £10 million on coverage of the Queen's Golden Jubilee this summer.

A spokeswoman for the BBC told ePolitix.com: "Dating back to the Coronation, television has been an integral part of the story of The Queen's reign. On this special occasion, the BBC will be in a unique position to cover and report on every angle of the Jubilee."
