Eighty six per cent of patients said that they were either very satisfied or satisfied with the quality of care and advice they had received from a nurse in the past year.

Forum Response: Royal College of Nursing

Dr Beverly Malone, general secretary of the Royal College of Nursing, told ePolitix.com: "Nurses have always been strong advocates and campaigners for their patients - and today's patients want to be partners in their care. Our survey shows that, while we can't afford to be complacent, nurses are providing the care patients want and need."
