A Halifax survey has predicted that although house prices have continued to soar, they are set to slow later in the year.

A Spokesperson for Britannic Money told ePolitix.com: "The news of further house price rises must continue to be a concern for first time buyers. Whilst it is anticipated that these rises will slow later in the year it is important that the lending industry remains prudent in their approach so that borrowers are not over stretched and the economy can remain stable."
