Deputy prime minister John Prescott told a regional reporter he was an "amateur" who should "bugger off" in an angry exchange in South Wales.

Prescott was annoyed by South Wales Argus journalist Mark Chouke's questions about the defection of Blaenau Gwent AM Peter Law.
