A government report on the Child Support Agency has found that staff have admitted administrative blunders costing a large proportion of families' crucial income.

The Guardian discovered the Department for Work and Pensions report buried in an "obscure corner" of the ministry's website.

The paper claims it  reveals errors such as knowingly entering false information.
