Upbeat Kennedy promises Lib Dem gains
Charles Kennedy has promised to "talk up Britain" and bypass negative campaigning.
At an upbeat speech in London, the Liberal Democrat leader said he believed a negative campaign would deter people from voting.
And he also promised party candidates they would take seats from both Labour and the Conservatives in "each and every region and nation of the country".
