Commons could revert to late-night sittings

MPs will vote on proposals that could turn back the clock on parliament's family-friendly hours.

The vote will take place in January but leader of the House Peter Hain has found little common ground between those who want to revert to traditional late-night sittings and those who want to keep the new hours introduced in 2003.
