'Economic sabotage' law confronts animal rights activists
As part of a government five year plan to make the UK more attractive to science companies the prime minister yesterday announced proposals for an "economic sabotage" law to deal with animal rights extremists.
Blair wants to tackle hardcore protesters who target anyone involved in research using animals and damage the industry.
