Families stage Downing Street protest against war
Families of British soldiers killed or serving in Iraq protested in Downing Street yesterday.
A group of 11 relatives observed a minute's silence after laying a wreath of poppies to honour the fallen of Iraq.
The scale of their anger became clear when the father of two young soldiers serving in Iraq said he wanted to kill the "two-faced lying git" Geoff Hoon.
"This man has got me so angry. If I see him in the street I would kill him. I would kill that man. I would cut his throat," he said.
