Gambling row continues
The government is under further pressure to make changes to the controversial Gambling Bill.
The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats have called for the minimum size of new casinos to be bigger, and have urged extra powers for local authorities to reject new developments.
As Labour MPs including Kate Hoey vowed to vote against the deregulation, gaming minister Lord McIntosh conceded that a key aim of the bill was an increase in tax revenues.
