Blair details third term prospectus
Tony Blair has set out a "compelling prospectus" for Labour's third term.
The prime minister said Labour would deliver new policies to encourage the disabled back to work, cut red tape on small business and deliver universal childcare within a decade.
Speaking to party workers at Labour's London headquarters, Blair said ministers had set out an "ambitious, credible and practical prospectus for transforming our essential public services".
Fleet Street notes, however, that there was no reference to Iraq amongst Blair's "seven key challenges" for a third term.
