Cash for honours row breaks out
A row has erupted over reports that biotech millionaire Paul Drayson donated £500,000 to Labour weeks after being awarded a peerage by Tony Blair.
The disclosure of the donation - in official figures released by the Electoral Commission - revived criticism of the government's relationship with generous Labour supporters.
The figures also showed that UKIP had raised more money than the Liberal Democrats last year.
