A list of gifts the prime minister has accepted has revealed that he decided not to keep a guitar given to him by U2 frontman Bono.

The prime minister has to declare any gift he receives worth more than £140.

He must make up the rest of the value of the item if he wishes to keep it.

He also got some wine from Jacques Chirac and a "selection of merchandise" from the Simpsons' production company.
