Lord Butler has reopened the investigation into whether Tony Blair deliberately misled Britain over the claim that Saddam Hussein could use weapons of mass destruction within 45 minutes.

The Hutton inquiry had exonerated the prime minister and Alastair Campbell, his former director of communications, of the charges.
