Labour braced for 'difficult' poll
Tony Blair received support from Ken Livingstone yesterday, when the mayor of London warned the Labour Party not to oust its leader.
Meanwhile, the prime minister admitted that Thursday's elections will be "difficult".
The Times reports that Labour is set for "huge losses" in many of its inner city heartlands, with gains split between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.
