Blair urged to opt for dual vote on EU and euro
Tony Blair is facing calls from some Cabinet members to combine his promised referendum on the EU constitution with a decision on British membership of the single currency if he secures a third term.
Meanwhile, speaking as he surveyed the headquarters of the European parliament in Brussels yesterday, new UKIP MEP Robert Kilroy-Silk said it was "depressing, absolutely depressing".
