Falconer hints at asylum compromise
The lord chancellor has signalled that the government is prepared to think again on moves to strip asylum seekers of their right to appeal through the courts.
Following last week's Lords revolt over judicial reform, Lord Falconer said it was right that the new streamlined asylum process was "properly supervised" by the courts.
