Ken Livingstone has threatened to "crush" opposition to his plans to build 120,000 homes around London.

London's mayor has pledged to fight a "real outbreak of nimbyism" by councils resisting his plans.

"You can't just freeze London with a nimby mentality," he told the London Evening Standard.
