Lords delays put fox bill back on agenda

Ministers could mount a fresh push to ban fox hunting following the delay to two bills in the House of Lords.

With plans to remove hereditary peers and create a supreme court now on the backburner, Labour MPs could be placated with the reintroduction of the controversial hunting legislation.

The government had feared that the second chamber would use blocking tactics if all three bills were going through parliament at once.
