Tories may back private school subsidies
A future Conservative government may hand parents "vouchers" to help them send their children to private schools, Oliver Letwin has said.
Interviewed in the Independent, the shadow chancellor said: "That is an area we are currently looking at. We do not envisage it being used for Eton. We are clear that you will not be able to use the passports as a contribution to an expensive public school."
