Brown set to target internet betting
The chancellor is set to crack down on internet betting exchanges in a bid to bring them into line with traditional bookmakers.
Gordon Brown wants those who are raking in cash using the internet betting sites to be subject to the same tax rules as their high street counterparts.
He is also set to extend a tax break on micro-breweries in the UK, suggests the FT.
