A Labour MP who was deselected last week has accused many of her male colleagues of supporting a culture of sexual infidelity and blind drunkenness at Westminster.

Jane Griffiths told the Mail on Sunday that one Labour member tried to sexually assault her after a party.

She said that unless Tony Blair stamped out the culture of "bullying, nonsense and hypocrisy" in the parliamentary Labour Party, he could be brought down by sleaze at the next election.
