Moves to cut civil service jobs are being reflected in industry, according to a new survey.

The poll to be published next month by the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development found that nearly a quarter of employers questioned planned to lay off staff this spring, with "reorganised working methods" cited most as the justification.
