Charities warn of Olympics risk
Charities have warned MPs that a successful London Olympic bid will drain funds away from their work.
The UK Sport and Heritage Lottery Fund told the Commons culture committee that a special Olympic National Lottery draw would take custom away from the main draw and its good causes.
Meanwhile, Tessa Jowell, the culture secretary, has revealed that the National Audit Office is to investigate why almost £3 billion of lottery money for good causes has not been spent.
