US rebuffs Iraq contracts bid
Washington has rebuffed a bid by UK ministers for British firms to win more Iraq contracts.
US national security advisor Condoleezza Rice told the prime minister in a phone call that there would be no special help for British firms.
White House officials are "powerless" to intervene in a procurement process handled by the Pentagon.
