Ministers in air safety row

The government is facing calls from passenger groups to name two charter airlines that have failed safety tests in Switzerland, but have permits to operate in Britain.

The Department for Transport refused to name two airlines that had been banned by the Swiss in 2002, but continue to carry British holidaymakers during the summer.
