BBC set for reform
The government's digital television advisor Barry Cox has claimed that ministers are set to impose tough controls on the BBC.
Cox, who is also the deputy chairman of Channel 4, believes ministers will use the renewal of the BBC's charter to rein in the corporation.
His comments come in a pamphlet for the leftwing think-tank Demos.
