Today's Sun reports that Tony Blair has promised the Labour leadership to Gordon Brown within two years of the next general election.

"Highly-placed" sources say the chancellor has agreed to become a supportive ally in return. The deal is said to have been struck at secret pre-Christmas talks between the two men.
