Hewitt wants more time for reading and theatre
Research from the Department of Trade and Industry has shown that seven out of 10 workers say they would enjoy a richer cultural life if their employers granted them a "better work-life balance".
Secretary of state Patricia Hewitt hopes to use the findings to encourage firms to see the benefits of a happier workforce.
