UK seeks tougher action on Zimbabwe
Britain will urge other European Union countries to implement tougher sanctions against President Mugabe's regime, Tony Blair told the Commons yesterday.
Challenged on the weakness of the existing EU travel ban on leading members of Zimbabwe's government, the prime minister said it was "certainly worth looking at business people and others if we can identify things that are going to be effective".
